▶Company

Dance Theater CHANG was founded in June, 2006. It seeks for more direct and realistic choreography rather than abstractive trend of Korean contemporary dance so far. Also, dramatic elements are added to their works so that they can interact with the audiences.

 

▶Performance

In order to express a feeling of the alienated person from the society, the work ‘Brother’ portrays the grief and sadness or loves of the family with a handicapped member.

The premiere of this work was supported by Grant Program of Art Council of Korea (ARKO), and after that it has been performed at various domestic dance festivals with favorable reviews. Also, it was awarded the Moscow Dance Festival 2010 Prize, and it was designated as a co-production by ARKO in 2012.
